The long-awaited sequel launched in July 2023 for Nintendo Switch. It's sold 1.82 million units in Japan and 1.51 units worldwide.

Amid several updates for its titles in its Q3 fiscal year 2024 report, Nintendo revealed that Pikmin 4 has reached 3.33 million units sold as of December 31st, 2023. It has sold 1.82 million units in Japan and 1.51 million worldwide after launching on July 21st, 2023 for Nintendo Switch.

Night-time expeditions are also available in a series first.
