PlayStation 4: Rime, Shadow of the Beast and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture Gameplay Trailers Revealed

Indie titles! Indie titles everywhere!

Sony announced a ton of games at Gamescom 2013, and its indie announcements easily stole the show. Take for instance, Tequila Works’ Rime, which will be releasing for PS4 and PS Vita. A new trailer was revealed the game, which showcased the colourful and aesthetically off-beat world that the protagonist must traverse.

Then there was Shadow of the Beast, a reboot of the Amiga title which will be coming to the PlayStation 4 as a melee-combat action game in which you play as a bipedal monster that fights demons.

Then there’s The Chinese Room’s Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, which is developed using CryEngine 3 and set in the 1980s when the world has ended. Given how the developer has experience with titles like Dear Esther and the upcoming Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture should be an equally enthralling and moody adventure experience.

And really, with a trailer that features the line, “This story begins with the end of the world”, who cold possibly resist?
