This review is pretty much a disgrace. It just draws overblown conclusions to get attention.
1-The visuals are sub-par? Did you actually play it? Below what par? Par for a PC game??
2-You just called a fighting game…too complex. You just shouldn’t be reviewing games my man. That’s like saying that Final Fantasy Tactics is just too involved to be enjoyable. Or that Patapon is too simple. Or that Mario is too cartoony.
3-“This game is mediocre because I was expecting Smash Bros, and it isn’t like Smash Bros” is the worst argument you could have used…and there it is.

Take off your super smash googles and play the game for what it is. It’s the most enjoyable fighter i’ve played in years. A steep learning curve is an absolute exaggeration. It takes 10 minutes tops to figure out each characters moves and every day i play i learn new tricks but that doesn’t make it hard to learn. There’s hard to learn and then there’s lazy.

You say it it’s heart its a tactical fighter then you complain about complexity? If it’s not tactical then it’s not complex.

It’s also beyond me how the negatives you list outweigh the positives. Mediocrity means the negatives are greater than the positives. The roster could be a bit bigger but it’s already stated they’re making dlc characters and the 2 newest ones will be FREE.

If you go into a game with a negative attitude it will taint your whole experience. As a reviewer you’re responsible for being unbiased.

Overhyped games like the playstation all stars need to be scored lowest. Even 6.5 is still too much, especially for a not-so-original game. It’s funny a few desperate fanboys are all anti-criticism and overly sensitive just because they are so brainwashed by a “junk” company.
