Sony has announced that its Cloud-based game streaming PlayStation Now service will be launching in the United States and Canada on July 31st for the PlayStation 4. It will also be heading to the PS3 and PS Vita later.
PS Now will also be heading to Sony TVs later this year and all you’ll need is a DualShock 3 controller to play games. It’ll need to be available in your area, which leaves us wondering what kind of limitations that will have.
Some games that have been revealed include Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus, Ultra Street Fighter 4 and much more. Sony is also promising a deep game library for the Vita through PS Now. Sony is also touting 100 PS Vita titles currently in development which includes Minecraft and Child of Light.
Will you be participating in the open beta when PS Now launches on July 31st? Let us know in the comments.
