Sony’s PlayStation Now cloud streaming solution is due for a public release later this year, and we’ve had a whole lot of betas, closed and open, to test it out ahead of its launch so far. However, based just on those betas, you would be forgiven for thinking that the service was coming exclusively for the PlayStation 4, whereas it will also be hitting the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. If you have been curious as to how it will be on those two devices, well, the open beta for it on the PS3, at least, is now live, so you have a chance of checking it out for yourself (and of letting Sony know if you don’t like what you see).
As with PlayStation Now on the PS4, this service is currently only available and supported in mainland US and parts of Canada (although PlayStation Now was confirmed for Europe some time next year; be on the lookout for specific betas for that region as we near its release there), and mandates pretty much the same requirements.
If you try it out, make sure to let us know in the comments what you think.
