Pokemon Sun/Moon is due out on November 18 this year, and for a game that is coming out so soon, and that Nintendo have been so unusually forthcoming about, there is a surprising amount that we simply have not known so far.
One of those things was returning features from previous games- the Pokemon games are notorious for for introducing cool new features in one installment, and then completely abandoning it in all future installments. So it was never a given that some of the innovations of Pokemon X/Y would be making it into Sun/Moon, for example.
But this new trailer for the game, which you can see below, confirms that at least one of them – Pokemon Amie, the minigame that allowed you to pet and play with your Pokemon using the 3DS touch screen – will be returning in Pokemon Sun/Moon. Considering just how much time I wasted playing with my Pikachu, I think that is pretty good news.
The trailer is a pretty good trailer apart from that, too, showcasing the joys of playing together. Pokemon Sun/Moon is due out on November 18 in Japan and North America, and November 23 in Europe, exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS.
