Pokemon Sun/Moon promises to be one of the biggest games of this year, and also the biggest breath of fresh air that the Pokemon franchise has had in at least the last fifteen years. Today’s trailer just drove that point home further- apart from showing us the evolutions for our starter Pokemon, it also showed off new features, including new multiplayer functionality, as well as the return of Mega Evolutions from Pokemon X/Y.
Additional features, including more training tools and aids for your Pokemon, were also shown off in the trailer. But the highlight of the trailer undoubtedly remains the little reveal at the end, when a special demo version for Pokemon Sun/Moon was revealed, featuring Ash-Greninja. Ash-Greninja can be carried over into the final game once it launches, too, so players could potentially have a devastating Pokemon in their arsenal.
Pokemon Sun/Moon are due to release exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on November 18 in North America and Japan, with the European release following on November 23.
