well said.I tested Project cars with 2 different pc:s Pc number 1.i7 4790k 980sli ultra 4k even with that pc it could not hold stable 60 fps.Then i tested pc number 2.Fx8320 overclocked to 4.4 gtx780 ultra 1080p,when i turned thunderstorm on fps dropped from 60 to 20:).Got to say much more relaxing to play with Ps4.Ps4 400 dollars its real masterpiece,i know only Pc users will hate me after this but the truth is,if you build Pc with 400 dollars you only get web browser and thats a real fact!
I think Project cars is excelent game but even with 4k ultra it does look like little better version Ps3 Granturismo 6,Driveclub looks much better but i dont like too much Arcade racers.You guys Should look Dirt Rally early acces in 4k maxed out Acropolish stages they look almost Photo realistic very impressive!

You only need professional monitors for… Professional work fool. I havnt seen many IPS panels around. there mainly TN 1ms, fastest IPS I’ve seen is 4 or 5ms although colour is supposed to be better. I live in UK so I have 20% added to everything and decent 1440p 1 ms monitor is about £350 so suck on that. Here’s some monitors for you

not everybody has black friday days, or buy things with dollars(or rather empty credit cards), also, you get up to 25% of vat in tons of countries…
and besides of that, if you pick a nice 27″ 1440p ips monitor, get ready to pay some good cash… unless you buy cheap noname korean monitors on ebay…
a professional monitor, like a nec, eizo, etc, costs much more than 1000$. you can 2x it..

Actually we’re the one laughing about the fact how you ignore that every console owner also owns a PC, either a desktop or laptop and sorry to bring you the bad news, but an average PC + console is still more expensive than our gaming PC.

700-1000 hahaha only professional grade monitors cost that much idiot. In fact that would be cheap for that. I havnt games like you I put in 11 years pretty much solely on MMOs so got nothing to show box wise for that before that mainly command and conquer, battle zone half life counter strike(I played that for years to) wing commander prophecy, after it not played to much of anything because games got boring, same recycled crap every year.

Waiting on star citizen to get back into MMO style games, tried FF14 exactly the same as wow, rift etc just with different setting so bored the crap out of me. Not alot worth looking forward to in gaming. Just witcher 3, star citizen mass effect 4 until dawn that’s it really off top of my head

You’re like a Jehovah witness :people will tell them they’re absolutely happy with their current religion, their beliefs and their God, but the witness will try hard, will come home 10 times, etc, and will do all he can to convince people they should rather pick the jehovah religion, because it is better, because it is good and because it is the right choice.

You can’t accept that a little weak cpu-gpu in around 350$ now, can produce games that play and look as good as hundreds millions computers, just without the extra anti aliasing +some other graphic options that the ultra settings can give on PC.
You can’t accept that a studio can do 95% of the graphics job on a little 400mb of ram (ps3 ) where the same PC version would easily eat up 4 or 5 gb for the same job.

Tell me, how many % of pcs are playing on a fast 700-1000$ monitor that supports 1440p, let alone 4k?

There are sub-$400 PC builds that outperform the consoles. Look up the potato masher for example. $350 and 2x the frame rate of consoles and higher quality/resolution too. Consoles became pointless outside of exclusives as soon as they started to switch to PC hardware.

Actually it’s not that hard to do it at 1080p, most of the more hard-core gamers are running 1440p/4K.

It’s hard to say how many people are the AAA gamers because sure there’s 125mill steam accounts but when you look at sales of games on pc it’s very low in comparison. A game like GTA5 can give a good idea because most people like it, always a top seller and games like battlefield and COD can give a good idea to as to how many gamers there actually are. 970 is actually quite a good deal which is why that was a good time for alot of people to upgrade. Is small compared to console gamers bit there’s more people than you think that can run it that high

All I’m saying it’s that they’re not in the majority of PC gamers. The ultra/max graphics settings that PC fanboys like to brag about to console gamers whenever a new trailer or screenshot comes out, is not achievable by a big chunk of PC gamers themselves.
