PS Now Gets a Price Cut in Europe to Accompany a Speed Boost

Along with a new interface, too.

Sony’s PlayStation Now service, which lets subscribers stream PS3 and PS4 games over the internet, is either way ahead of its time, or terribly misguided. The jury is out on that, but until we know one way or the other which way the ball will roll, Sony is doing its best to continue pushing the service.

That includes a price cut, at least in European territories where it is available- you can now subscribe to the service for €14.99. This new reduced price applies to France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The price drop is accompanied by a new interface, as well as an apparent increase in speeds (which is important when you are streaming games).

You can subscribe to the service; if you haven’t, you will get a free seven day trial to first see if it’s something that interests you at all. Or you can be like me and hope that Sony will introduce its own verion of the Xbox Game Pass for the PS4.
