From Software took a slight but uniquely gothic detour with Bloodborne back in 2015, creating a gruesome world based off of eldritch horror and dying over and over again. The game’s cult following would be kept satisfied for years thanks to the Chalice Dungeon system, where randomly generated dungeons could be tackled on your own or in a co-operative fashion.
Those dungeons come in two flavours typically, Chalice dungeons with the ability to apply rites to modify them, and Sinister Chalices, which typically cannot. But players have stumbled into some unique sinister chalice dungeons on the server, which seem to have all rites enabled, creating some unique layouts and great loot.
The new dungeons come to us thanks to an unknown player messing around with a save editor, creating combinations that shouldn’t be possible in the regular game, and finding unique results coming out of that. Nobody knows who this player is or why or when they’ll upload another dungeon, but any unique finds from this are more likely to be the results of glitches from misfiring code than hidden intended content, or Bloodborne 2 teases.
