PS4 is finally getting a new major firmware update, and this one is going to add some long requested features, such as the ability to appear offline to friends, notifications to know when your friends come online (yes, these two basic features were actually missing from the PS4 until now), as well as some cool peripheral features, like sharing videos to DailyMotion, and scheduling game sessions with friends.
You can check out all of these features in action in the new set of screenshots below- they’re all in Japanese, which makes them pretty useless to anyone who doesn’t know Japanese, but the general idea comes through regardless (especially since there is a fair bit of English thrown into the mix there as well).
The Musahi PS4 3.50 update enters wide scale beta testing tomorrow; its final release date is not yet known, but it can’t be too far off, going by precedence.
