Yeah, They can lower the pro price's and have more exclusive games.
Scorpio's going to be large hot console.
Sony Lead is going to continue for sure

Who said MS has to brute force the Scorpio. We already know 6TF is not enough for 4K. Checkerboard rendering is not exclusive to Sony. It was used in Quantum Break and devs can use it to upscale games on the Scorpio. Difference is is that Scorpio is much more powerful than the pro from the start which means the native res on the Scorpio could be hogher than on the Pro or allow for more 4K/60fps games.

Just pointing out that game info for PS4-Pro is hitting the network store and that once certain games are patched 99% of the time issues have been sorted. Once patched and running fine shows it's not PS-Pro at fault but that of the devs, etc

Most of the games that had worse framerates when compared to base PS4 have been patched, but some people still hold on to old news I guess. It comes down to choices, and Sony allowed that to take place with PS4-Pro.

And I'm not bashing the Pro, I think it's good. But I just found it on Amazon...it's currently at #65. That's bad man. I hope it sells more cuz I want this idea of mid gen upgrades as a choice for me next gen too

I do agree with u on the price tag thing. Pro will be cheap, but, have u seen how the Pro is selling? I checked on Amazon and not only is the Xbox S and PS Slim beating it, it's almost no where to be found. Maybe it's sold out, but judging from last month NPDs, it sold mediocre, maybe even poor. So who knows, the Pro may not be battling for ANY spot in 2017, let alone against Scorpio.

Facts hunh? U do know that developers already have Scorpio dev kits right? In Phil's own words at E3 he said that's the reason why Scorpio was announced so soon, for studios to get ample time with it, so.....yeah, misinfo on ur part hunh?

Also, in what world will a 4.2Tflop, 8GB, 215Gb/s system contend with a 6+Tflop, 12GB, 320Gb/s machine? Even with optimisation (which most of the time is really just achieving a stable frame rate) the Pro would NEVER be on equal grounds, it's losing in every department by a lot! It's gonna get beat in every aspect of performance from day one. But think what you will.

Right now, some games run worse, some games run better. Does that tell you something?

It means it's not the hardware. It's each dev making choices and trading off one thing for another during the optimisation process.

Example, Bethesda mistakenly went for superb sharp imagery at a high resolution downsampled 1080p, instead of a smooth frame rate at 1080p with enhanced graphics. That was their choice so I play that game on my bog standard PS4 which plays it great with superb graphics.

Uncharted 4 and Watch Dogs 2 are the opposite. Those games are best played on the PS4 Pro because the right choices have been made. I'm holding off playing The Last Of Us on the PS4 Pro because I feel the wrong choices have been made for 1080p gamers and so I'm waiting to see if they change it.

The point I'm making is that we are in the early stages of a console's life. Devs are still learning best practice and all the tricks that can make it punch above its weight. All consoles go through that phase so gloating just makes you look like a naive fanboy.
