At this point, pretty much everything that there is to know about the PS4 Slim, we know already. We’ve seen its packaging, the system itself, all of its capabilities, we’ve seen it being turned on, we’ve even seen a review for the damn thing. About the only thing we haven’t seen yet has been a teardown.
Well, that changes with this new video, which shows us, guess what, a teardown of the PS4 Slim. Links-Tech (via GamesRadar) take apart everything in the console in this video, and provide some more information, confirming that the console will come in 500GB and 1TB, that it will not have 4K video compatibility, has better wireless capability than existing PS4 models, and while it runs very silently, it gets very hot very quickly, too.
The PS4 Slim will apparently be debuting at the PlayStation Meeting tomorrow, and is expected to be available at retail right away.
