"that the sound was too quiet so I could not hear the nuances of the sound work done by Sony."

Doesn't the headset allow you to wear your own headphones? Not sure if sound is a function of the unit itself.

Actually, Project Morpheus delivers on the performance that Valve's headset offered ;-)... Which is irrelevant since Valve is not releasing a headset.

Try and hate as much as you like, but Sony's VR is ahead of the curve in most aspects ;-)

Dude, you are either severely misinformed or attempting to intentionally mislead people... Yes, the headset uses the camera... Which only costs $60. The headset itself uses Move technology for tracking... So it will be less expensive than Oculus... Likely in the $100 - $150 range. DualShock 4 controllers have Move technology built in as well, so additional Move controllers will not be necessary. Will people spend $100 - $150 to enjoy VR? The answer is likely yes!

The camera and Move tech in the PS4 is freaking excellent as far as precision and recognition. The camera has already sold nearly 1M units already, and is consistently sold out. For the type of immersion this could offer, they could easily still 1-2M even if it did cost $200-300.

Not exactly what I meant, but this is the internet. Firstly, I don't think anyone SHOULD be VR gaming for too long without breaks. Secondly, I mean motion sickness was such a big factor with the dev kit that me and my 3 kids all felt it when messing with the rift even for less than 10 minutes. Lag however, from the demos since not all games had perfect 1:1 head tracking, isn't that big of a deal compared to motion sickness. It being so fast is good, seeing as how that just another factor to take away from disorientation.

The body tracking will come from the pseye which means its going be quite expensive to have it all prolly looking at $300-400 for the helmet and pseye. Will ppl pay that do ya think for something that's more of a novelty? Also may have to buy the move controllers to for hands free stuff.
