PS5 Pre-Order Registration Page is Now Available

Pre-orders are "first-come-first-serve" and limited to one console per PSN ID.

The PlayStation 5 isn’t available to pre-order just yet but Sony has opened up a registration page for the same recently. The company noted that there will be a “limited quantity” of PS5 consoles available for pre-order “so we will be inviting some of our existing consumers to be one of the first to pre-order one from PlayStation.” However, these are on a “first-come-first-serve basis” so you’ll still need to pre-order quickly once the invite comes through via email.

Sony also revealed a few additional details in its adjoining FAQ. Essentially, this isn’t a guarantee for pre-ordering the PS5. Quantities are limited to one console, either the regular or Digital Edition, per PSN ID. Accessories-wise, one can pick up two DualSense wireless controllers and charging stations, two Pulse 3D wireless headsets, two media remotes and two HD cameras.

With this registration page going live, it could only be a matter of time before Sony formally announces pre-orders being available. This may coincide with the announcement of a release date and price. Until then, the PS5 is still slated to release this holiday season. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
