PS5’s Quantum Error Is Targeting 4K and 60 FPS

The horror title is also targeting full raytracing.

There’s not a lot that we know yet about the PS5’s intended lineup of games, but some developers have come forward to announce that they’re working on games for the upcoming console. One such developer is American-based studio TeamKill Media, who recently announced Quantum Errora cosmic horror first person shooter that is coming to both, PS4 and PS5.

Being one of the first games confirmed to be launching on the PS5, questions about how it will look and whether it’ll be taking full advantage of the console’s more powerful hardware are, of course, relevant, and while we don’t really have any proper details yet, the developers have made some interesting promises. Taking to Twitter in response to questions from players, TeamKill Media confirmed that Quantum Error is targeting 4K/60 FPS as well as full raytracing, though the quality of the latter will “depend on how things run.”

There’s no word on whether 4K/60 FPS will also be supported on the PS4 Pro, but one would assume there will at least be some enhancements.

Quantum Error is currently in development for both of Sony’s consoles, but doesn’t yet have a release date.
