Sony has addressed what might be the most baffling omission of a feature from a console of all time, as PS4 owners will finally have the ability to download PSN avatars on the PS4 for their profiles. Previously, only the default avatars were available to PS4 and PS Vita users- the custom avatars, which need to be purchased separately, and are far better than the custom stock, including some iconic game characters in avatar form, were only available to PS3 players until now for some reason.
Thankfully, that is no longer the case. Players can finally download all the (terrible, terrible) purchasable avatars for their profiles from the PS4 via the PSN Store.
Good going there, Sony. Next up, let me change my PSN name. And notify me when a friend comes online. And also, while you are at it, bring over PS1 and PS2 Classics over to the PS4, won’t you?
