Rain, the upcoming PlayStation 3 title being developed by Sony Japan Studios, has been slowly garnering more and more hype as we near its release. There’s been a series of developer diaries taking us behind the development of the title, talking about the various aspects of the game; now, the latest one talks about the music of the game, talking about how the vocals and the instrumentals were both important and needed to be remolded to fit the mood of the game. It seems like the entire game has been developed with that frame of mind.
To be honest, in a game as atmospheric and clearly mood intensive as Rain looks to be, that is a great consideration to have; too many games have great atmosphere which is ruined by one jarring element or the other that sticks out like a sore thumb.
Rain releases on PlayStation 3 later this year. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for further coverage of the title.
