Another big hit game that alot of us are hyped up about, is non other than the famous Playstation game Ratchet & Clank.
Ratchet & Clank is one of Sony’s major hit games, ever since the first games on the Playstation 2.
Many of you know, that the masterminds behind Ratchet & Clank are Insomniac Games, which their latest release was the great hit First Person Shooter – Resistance 2, and as many of you notice, it seems like Insomniac is developing their games in the order of, Resistance, then Ratchet, Resistance, and now their latest Ratchet & Clank game: Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.
The new Ratchet & Clank is a sequel to Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and the PSN title – Quest For Booty, and the story picks up right after QFB left off.
in Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, Ratchet is trying to find and save Clank, he was kidnapped at the end of TOD, to be more specific, he was kidnapped by Doctor Nefarious.
Players will play the game in 2 different ways, one time they will play as Clank who is trying to solve puzzles that have to do with “time”, for example Clank can record his actions, so he can then use this to platform to his destination, or maybe stop time so he can pass through fast moving platforms. Where as Ratchet you will battle and platform like every other Ratchet & Clank game, but featuring new weapons and gadgets and even allies, the idea that you play as both of them seperatly is well demonstrated on the recently revealed boxart of the game, so check it out!
Just like i mentioned, this is just like the classic Ratchet & Clank games, where you fly from one planet to another, doing quests and shooting down every enemy you see with all the variety of weapons at your disposal, except of course, your without Clank, so he isn’t there to help you out in your time of need.
I’m sure all of you noticed the big graphical jump the game has (from TOD to ACT), many articles wrote about the game having great looking graphics, being almost identical to Pixar movies, and let me tell you it sure is!
In conclusion, every R&C fan should not miss out on A Crack in Time, for it seems to be like the best R&C to date!
so mark the date, October 27.
