Sony placed a rather uncomfortable emphasis on TV and film for its E3 media briefing but at the very least, the Ratchet & Clank film has to do with gaming. The film will apparently look at Ratchet’s initial beginnings as he struggles to be a hero like his idol Captain Qwark.
The original Ratchet & Clank was also announced for the PlayStation 4 to feature brand-new visuals, gameplay sequences and much more to help it compete with the best PS4 titles. Considering that it’s one of the weaker entries in the franchise, we’ll wait and see how that pans out but it’s good news all the same.
Ratchet & Clank the movie and the first game will both be releasing in 2015. Are you looking forward to the same? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below along with your opinion on Sony’s overall E3 presser. Stay tuned for more information on each game unveiled as E3 continues.
