Ready At Dawn Studios released a new gameplay trailer for The Order: 1886 and while overall reception was positive, there have been some complaints. IGN, for instance, posted a gameplay preview which stated that, “The portion of the adventure I saw ran relatively poorly, with sudden, sharp transitions between scenes, audio issues, and a lagging framerate.” Apparently, it was stated beforehand that this version was an early optimized build.
Studio founder Andrea Pessino took to Twitter to respond to the same, and started by saying, “The build had few glitches from a last sec audio problem (which of course did not happen in our tests).” Pessino added that “it runs pretty damn sweet for this stage of development.”
In regards to the IGN preview, Pessino said that, “It’s all good – hopefully he will see his concerns addressed before long.”
It’s not unlike developers to showcase early builds so any issues indicated by The Order: 1886 will undoubtedly be resolved in good time. Remember: the game has no set release date and even if it comes out in Autumn, that’s still a good 8 to 10 months away.
