red dead was great because it was authentic. yes many of the option's like swords and cars can be placed in a certian period of the old west but I think it will destroy the authentic feeling that made red dead redemption had. I liked using the winchester repeater while I was riding a horse. let's not destroy the authentic west feeling by mixing it with the industrial revolution. it's a great idea for a videogame but is isn't a great idea for a red dead game

No. I mean one where the player is the bad guy and doesn't have restrictions placed on you, like you did in LA Noir. Like every other big R* game (RDR, GTA, Bully, and even Midnight Club).

I really hope they have three or four characters in this game. That would be pretty cool. I really liked that in GTA V. I just hope they don't continue John's story--I know a lot of people want to, but it would be boring as a prequel, and boring as a sequel. They should just set it a bit back in time in the 1860s where you can really experience the wild west--not the dying one. I think there should be canoes, but don't over do the transportation...

The transportation. There was nothing else back then. I think the transportation should be horses, carriages, the train, and maybe a rowboat.

I always imagined the setting of New-York (or Liberty City) circa the Gangs of New-York era, around 1862, to be the perfect setting for a Rockstar Game installment. This could make a nice tie-in that would fit perfectly between the Red Deat and GTA mythos.

Huh? Sorry, that makes no sense. Do you understand the difference between the two words?

However I notice that the title has been amended. Thank you. And well done on an interesting article. I've now realised that I didn't say that originally. I apologise for that.

No, you made a mistake. If it was how will it affect red dead, fair enough. But it says how will it effect it, which is correct

Pretty cool little article...I like the idea of multiple playable characters translating from gta 5....off the top of my head a cool scenario could be playing as both the outlaw and the lawman, having to react to your own actions, leading to an ending that sees both characters in a duel, and giving you the option to play as either one, lawman gunning down the outlaw or vice versa, or maybe an outlaw just giving up....it would take a lot of time to make a narrative like that work, but it would be fairly unheard of in the video games industry, could take the player down some cool moral pathways
