We saw loads of major reveals, deep dives, and new announcements at E3 this year, but there were a few that were conspicuously absent from the entire proceedings. One of the most notable absentees was the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2, a game many expected to see a fair bit of gameplay for, but were surprised to see absolutely nothing for after all.
However, it might be possible that Red Dead Redemption 2 was present at E3 2018 after all- at least in some, not-so-major and not too prominent capacity. Eurogamer recently wrote a piece on their favourite games from this year’s E3, but interestingly enough, near the beginning of the article they also mentioned that they saw fleeting bits of the upcoming Rockstar game.
Apparently, they were able to peek into a meeting room behind closed doors, which they “weren’t supposed to see into”, and caught a fleeting glimpse of what they thought was a playable form of some sort of Red Dead Redemption 2. Interestingly enough, they also mentioned that no one was allowed inside the meeting room.
Either way, Red Dead Redemption 2 is not that far away from launch, so we’ll all be getting our hands on the game soon enough anyway, when it launches for the PS4 and Xbox One on 26 October. Stick with GamingBolt for more updates on the game.
