While Red Dead Redemption 2 is still a week away from launching, the file size for it is so massive that some people un-ironically probably want to start downloading it well ahead of time so they are assured of being able to play it when it releases. That, or they are probably just so excited for Rockstar’s newest magnum opus that they want it on their system now.
Now is when they can have it, assuming they live in Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to the wonder of time zones, if you live in one of those countries, you can now download the game’s files from PSN to your system, Reddit users are reporting. They currently come in at 92 GB, but remember, the final file size may be significantly larger. While we haven’t personally been able to verify whether or not the pre-load is live for Xbox One users as well, there should be no reason for it not being available for Xbox to download right now either.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26.
