Now what I’m trying to say here is I can bet you that if anyone who was extremely good in both Gears 1 and Gears 2 and use the noob weapon setup will realize that it’s extremely easy to get kills using little to no skill. Regular Gnashers users aren’t afraid of rushing recklessly or smart, so put a sawed off in their hands and that only makes things worse. Using the retro lancer which is capable of downing two people in one clip is stupid on its own. Those two weapons alone kill what Gears was known for and that was shotgun battles. I don’t want to use those weapons since it does feel cheap getting kills with them and also don’t want to play like a complete unskillful fag. Now using the regular setup which is lancer/hammerburst/gnasher is challenging, but sometimes it does get impossible when you have sawed of users running around and rushing at the same person.

Sure you can down one, but here comes another, you could get him too, but by that time you’re getting shot by the third person from far away, even if you were able to escape and highly aware that the fourth and fifth guy is flanking you. You have no options but keep falling back until there is no where to go and right then and there. (Somewhat of a horrible example, but you get the idea.) You can only do so much and even invent shit on the spot and it isn’t enough.

Now listen to the assholes at Epic if anyone is reading this…if I wanted to play Call of Duty, I’ll just pop in Call of Duty and get kills in one shot with any shotgun or shoot a weapon long range.

When I want Gears, I guess I’ll have to pop in Gears 1. It really sad how you guys made such a great game that was known Gears 1 only for it to be a fluke. Oh and by the way, to those who said they shouldn’t have catered to “new customers, new to series, casual gamers” If they didn’t listen to us hardcore Gears 1 fans, they definitely won’t listen to hardcore Gears 2 fans.

Okay I’m just ranting here. Yes, I’m a Gears 1 fan and I’ll probably get heat for that, but the thing is that people who are fans of One or Two have an understanding and know what’s fucked up in Gears 3 and what’s not.

So someone’s gameplay should be drastically changed because of one controversial weapon? What about wing man????? Where you either camp and be lucky for people to come to you without a SOS, or people WILL camp with the SOS and you have to go to them (because the most kills = win) ???????? It’s total bullshit, they’ll always have the advantage just because of that gun and you you’re saying that people will have to use a totally different gun to counter it??? So to counter ONE weapon you’ll restrict your self to close range only weapons? and btw people with the SOS ALWAYS CAMP. 95% of the time AT THE VERY LEAST.

It encourages camping with the single fire and long reload time -.- even if people say it’s not OP – people DO just camp at the vantage point of the map and corner camp and insta-kill you, jesus christ I’m so wound up over who’s fucking idea this was.

Epic can forget about any DLC from me when bf3 comes out I’ll probably be spending a lot more time in that if the SOS stays put. Even the description of the sawed-off isn’t true “Ineffective past melee range” No, not true, still an insta-kill from past melee range -.-

After being in a few matches where at least 4 of the enemy team players had a SOS I got angry and joined them needless to say, being the first full match of using it I got at least 4 single kills (seriously without any real effort) and a double kill with one shot, it’s so fucking easy to use.

well done Epic a third nail in the gow coffin, first and incredible fast paced laggy as hell game, a slow as fuck and awful sequel and now everything is perfect connection wise, damage wise in the third and final game, minus the SOS which is even worse than hitler.
