Sawed-off Shotgun is ruining Gears 3 Multiplayer; Epic are you listening?

Gears of War 3 is one of the best games to have been released this gen, and we gave it a perfect 10 in our review. The multiplayer component is fantastic because of the dedicated servers and let’s be honest here, there will always be something that will crash your party.

Right now, people with Sawed-off Shotgun (SOS) are running rampant online; sometimes almost everyone in the team uses them. It’s bad because if a guy gets near you with a SOS; you are already dead (meme). The gun has an incredibly high reload time, but usually that doesn’t matter, as a guy can easily kill someone, run back and wait for you to come to him.

The counter to SOS is a Retro Lancer, but what will you do if a team of SOS users come charging at you? Nothing and this situation is extremely bad in King of the Hill, where the SOS completely dominates. The multiplayer is perfectly fine, except this. I have no idea how Epic let this in the game. The gun should be nerfed immediately.

This is how you counter a Sawed-off user but this won’t work when two or more people come charging at you with the gun.
