It was all the way back in 1998 when a little game by the name of SiN came out. It featured unique designers, a slick cyberpunk setting and some innovative shooting mechanics. Unfortunately, it suffered some bad timing. Not only had the game been delayed several times, it came out just ten days before the original Half-Life released, which overshadowed it. The game has since became something of a cult hit, and today it returned, with bigger plans in the future.
Nightdive Studios has now re-released the game with SiN Gold on Steam. The release comes with both the full original title as well as its expansion, Wages of Sin. Both have some modernized feature support, such as 16:9 video resolutions and SDK editing. You can see the trailer for it below.
Not only is that getting a re-release, the developer also announced that a full remaster would also be coming at some point in the near future. No details were given on that, but it seems SiN will be getting its time in the sun to finally shine a bit.
