Skywind Update Showcases New Armour and Landscapes

The renewal is slow but making steady progress, as this latest video shows.

If you can’t bear the wait for a brand new single-player Elder Scrolls – especially since the recent Elder Scrolls Online is, well, online only – then there’s some good news. Skywind, a fan project which aims to recreate The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind using the Skyrim engine, is making great – albeit slow – progress. Though there’s no estimated release date, a new video has been released previewing the newest build 0.9.5 and the recent additions made with it.

These include four classic armour sets such as the Morag Tong armour and different landscapes including the Bitter Coast and Sheogorad. It’s fairly good looking at this state and it’s still impressive to this day that the fan community is recreating the entire game with the visuals of Skyrim.

Stay tuned for more information on Skywind (or visit the community here to learn more) as it comes out and let us know what you think of the most recent build in the comments below.
