Sony’s genius move last night, where they announced the PS Vita TV microconsole to give new life to their failing handheld, led to a lot of questions- how will, for instance, the Vita TV, which is compatible with the DualShock 3 only at this point, play Vita Games like Little Deviants and Tearaway, which utilize the Vita touch screen, touch pad, and camera extensively (all three lacking on the DS3 controller, incidentally)? As it turns out, it won’t. Not all PS Vita games are going to be compatible with Vita TV; while a lot of the incompatible games might be patched in with Vita TV control schemes in the future, and games going forward might be developed with Vita TV’s control limitations in mind, for now, this is the complete list of games compatible with the new microconsole.
The list is fairly extensive- it includes a lot of Vita games, including the platform’s headlining marquee game, Persona 4 Golden, the enhanced remake that remains the best title on the platform yet. Other titles confirmed to be compatible are Dragon’s Crown, Soul Sacrfice, Rayman, Ratchet and Clank, and Final Fantasy X HD.
