Foxconn and Pegatron Technology, the two companies who assembled the PS3, will be starting the production of the PS4 at the end of 2011, aiming for 2012 release, or so digitimes claim. It is important to note that this contradicts Sony’s widely reported long-term plan to keep the PS3 going for another console cycle. The report also claimed that the PS4 will utilise a Kinect style body sensor controller. Sony have, as of yet, not made comment on the claim.
