That collaboration and title based on a classic franchise that Game Freak was teasing for the Nintendo 3DS? Turns out it will be a Nintendo 3DS eShop title called Soritia Horse (and no, we’ve never heard of it before). The game will be a horse training simulator wherein you can raise and then race your steed. It will also be the first game that the Pokemon X & Y developer will be self-publishing on its own.
Soritia Horse is divided into two phase – the Solitaire Phase which lets you bond with your horse, and the Control Phase, which has you using the touch pen for racing and allows you to interact with them in different ways. Races involve switching back and forth between these stretches, and you’ll need to use whatever items and powers you’ve collected to win.
Then you can turn your prize-winning steed into a QR code and share it with others. Well…okay. Soritia Horse will be available on July 31st for 500 yen.
