Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Newest Discovered Glitch Lets You Spawn Infinite Waluigis in the Game

That’ll show Sakurai to exclude him from the roster next time!

When Nintendo and series creator Masahiro Sakurai announced Super Smash Bros. Ultimate earlier this year, they proudly proclaimed “everyone is here”. And truly, everyone was—every fighter from every previous game in the series, plus some new ones to boot. However, one prominent Nintendo character was missing: Waluigi, whose omission led to fans harassing Sakurai on Twitter.

Waluigi was still not added to the game, but he is having his revenge now anyway. Fans have discovered a glitch in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where, when two Isabelles are fighting against one another, and both use their grab move (the fishing line) at the same time, they can trigger off an infinite, endless line of Assist Trophy spawns. And you know who is an Assist Trophy in this game? Waluigi. So you know what fans have done? That’s right. That’s very right.

There are ultimately so many Assist Trophy spawns that the game ends up crashing. It simply cannot take the weight of all those “waaahs”. It goes to show you, Waluigi will always win.
