Waluigi Fans Harassing Super Smash Bros. Creator and Director, Getting Blocked in Response

This is absolutely unacceptable behavior.

Posted By | On 19th, Jun. 2018

This is what happens when a joke goes too far. Fans of Nintendo character Waluigi, who has gained a new life online as a popular meme, have taken to demanding that he be included in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, taking umbrage at the fact that in a game where “everyone is here”, Waluigi is specifically excluded, only appearing as an Assist Trophy.

Apparently, some people have taken this insult too personally, because they have begun harassing Super Smash Bros. creator, and the director for the upcoming Ultimate, inundating him with inappropriate memes, and personally bothering him to such an extent that he has had to start blocking them on Twitter.

People- what the ever loving hell? It is never right to harass someone, and to do so over the non inclusion of a joke character in a video game, and especially someone who is as crazily hard working and committed to his fans as Sakurai, is absolutely unacceptable (not that it is ever acceptable). It is people like these Waluigi fans who give the video gaming community such a bad name in general.
