Zynga's online operation could be in danger.

It’s no secret that Zynga is a company that is being viewed by many as ruthless and something that only cares about its bottomline and does not take care of its employees. They have also entered the gambling phase, presumably because the gaming business isn’t doing that well.

However, it seems that Anonymous–the Internet’s own defender of free right–will attempt to teach the company a lesson by…? Well we don’t know what exactly they will do, but this is just a rumour for now.

we also have a report that one Anonymous speaker had access to documents which showed Zynga’s intention lay-off 1000 staff. The company’s share value has plummeted and also recently fired 100 people during E3, in what is being viewed as a vile act by everyone.

We would post that video here but it appears to have been taken down (via VG247).

Tell us what you think in the comments section below.

Anonymous has a beef with Activision now. Why? It’s because of the Black Ops 2 trailer that was released recently. The trailer which you can see here, portrays the Anonymous organization as the enemy of the United States, which has pissed them off greatly.

They have released their own video in which they threaten to hack Activision and to disrupt their online servers. They have managed to ‘dox’ Activsion’s CEO Eric Hirshberg, and are threatening to cause a lot of damage to the company’s infrastructure.

“This act will show you how serious our collective us and that we will protect any human who calls himself Anonymous,” can be heard in the video. Check it out below.

This is what they posted:

Greetings fellow users. It has come to our attention that Activision entertainment company used our collective as a bad example to other players all over the world. Selected company presented us as a terrorist group with plans to hijack planes and others. This is our reply to the selected company Activision: We are not terrorists, we are fighters for freedom in every aspect of meaning. However, if you want to present us in that way we will need to take action against your company and online servers.

We will hijack military system and use valid date to control over the parameter. We will deface your online game servers and make damage of millions of dollars to your company. This act will show you how serious our collective us, and that we will protect any human who calls himself Anonymous. The time has come to expand our collective. It is time to take steps on streets, protest and other public actions in order to bring one step to mission and create a public team who will proceed with the mission.

Again this is the act of all of us who share the same idea and mission. To others, our message is continue to share data, links and other protest space. That is all steps to one great plan, a final mission that will free the system form potential threats. So you can see, we are all one team, Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Activision, expect us.

In aftermath of United States’ federal agents taking down popular uploading site MegaUpload and its sister site MegaVideo recently, Anonymous is back with its grandest and largest threat ever, with over 5000 people taking down 10 federal and industry websites.

Anonymous announced this via a video posted on YouTube yesterday, titles “Anonymous Message to Congress.” You can watch it above.

In the video, they say they do acknowledge the fact that MegaUpload contained copyrighted material, but taking down the site wasn’t about that at all. Anonymous wants MegaUpload back up within the next 72 hours, or they will launch their attack.

They say they have gained access to the servers of United Nations, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, US Bank, Capital One and Chase Bank. They will take down all of these servers if their demands are not met.

They claim they have the account info of each and every account in the aforementioned banks, but they do want to reassure these clients that their imformation will not be compromised at all. Their goal is only to make a statement to the Congress. They also leave one message to the Congress in their video: “o those who support PIPA and SOPA. To those congressmen who want to vote yes on these bills. We are not fucking playing.”

Well, this seems… rather interesting.

Leave your feedback behind in the comments section below.

Well it looks like PSN might be… in trouble again, as the self-proclaimed heroes of the internet, Anonymous have threatened Sony with dire consequences unless they stop supporting the SOPA Bill. On further research, it is only the three Sony music companies that are supporting the bill, so why are these guys after PSN?

Are we even supposed to use logic here?

This is what they said:

“Hello, SONY.

We are Anonymous.

It has come to the attention of the Anonymous activist community that you have chosen to stand by the Stop Online Piracy Act. This act will halt online businesses and restrict access to many sites for many users. Supporting SOPA is like trying to throw an entire company from off a bridge. Your support to the act is a signed death warrant to SONY Company and Associates. Therefore, yet again, we have decided to destroy your network. We will dismantle your phantom from the internet. Prepare to be extinguished. Justice will be swift, and it will be for the people, whether some like it or not. Sony, you have been warned.

To those doubting our powers. We’ve infiltrated the servers of Bank of America, The United States Department of Defense, The United Nations, and Lockheed Martin. In one day.

For their approval to SOPA, we have also declared that our fury be brought upon the following persons. Justin Bieber. Lady Gaga. Kim Kardashian. and Taylor Swift.

Operation Blackout, engaged.
Operation Mayhem, engaged.
Operation LulzXmas, engaged.

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.

Supporters of SOPA, you should’ve expected us.”

The Spanish national police force’s website was knocked offline for about an hour yesterday by hacker collective Anonymous, following a series of arrests made by the Spanish police.

Spain’s police force apprehended three Spanish men linked to the recent PSN attacks a few days ago, and the hacker groups DDos attacks are apparently “an act of peaceful protest” in response to this.

Anonymous said: “It has come to our attention that you deemed it necessary to arrest three of our fellow anons, … which you claim to be the leaders of Anonymous and for their participation in DDoS attacks against various websites…

“First and foremost, DDoSing is an act of peaceful protest on the Internet. The activity is no different than sitting peacefully in front of a shop denying entry. Just as is the case with traditional forms of protest…

“Regardless of how many times you are told, you refuse to understand. There are no leaders of Anonymous. Anonymous is not based on personal distinction…

“Arresting somebody for taking part in a DDoS attack is exactly like arresting somebody for attending a peaceful demonstration in their hometown. Anonymous believes this right to peacefully protest is one of the fundamental pillars of any democracy…

“You have not detained three participants of Anonymous. We have no members and we are not a group of any kind. You have, however, detained three civilians expressing themselves…

“You are providing us with the fuel, but now you must expect the fire.”

Eerie stuff indeed.

Thanks to BBC News for the info.

They’ve now promised to keep their followers updated by posting videos on another popular video website, Dailymotion. The group also told Youtube that they have messed with the wrong guys and they can expect a response.

This will definitely prove to be a blow for the group as Youtube is the biggest channel through which they could have conveyed their messages.

“By forcing social networking sites such as YouTube and Facebook to hand over IP addresses of those who have viewed [videos demonstrating PlayStation hacking techniques, Sony has] performed an act of privacy invasion.”

“We, Anonymous, will not allow this to happen.”

Real cloak and dagger stuff right there.

Anonymous has issued a second press release for Sony where they reveal that future assaults on Sony would continue, however they will try their level best not to make the user-experience suffer as a result of it.

You can watch their video above and read their full presser below:

During the last few days, Anonymous has been targeting Sony for their outrageous treatment of not only PS3 users and jailbreakers, but also of the general public. Their propaganda regarding jailbreaking implies that it encourages piracy and thereby makes people lose their jobs, whereas jailbreaking actually just means you are making YOUR device do what it should do. Imagine if Microsoft forced you to use Internet Explorer instead of Firefox or Chrome. Imagine if they denied users from using any other web browser than their own. Many people would obviously be pissed… but then, why aren’t you pissed at Sony?

The fact that their litigation demanded information on everyone who had viewed the material, was completely unacceptable. This is a threat not only to the gaming community, but to freedom of information in general. The fact that the privacy of individuals can be violated, simply for accessing information, and legal action can be taken for doing something with something you own, are steps far beyond the line. Anonymous decided it could not allow this to stand. If jailbreaking a phone for use of legal (unsigned) apps is found legal, why would this be any different for the Geohot case, seeing as Geohot explicitly states he does not support piracy?

Anonymous is not attacking the PSN at this time. Sony’s official position is that the PSN is undergoing maintenance. We realize that targeting the PSN is not a good idea. We have therefore temporarily suspended our action, until a method is found that will not severely impact Sony customers.

Anonymous is on your side, standing up for your rights. We are not aiming to attack customers of Sony. This attack is aimed solely at Sony, and we will try our best to not affect the gamers, as this would defeat the purpose of our actions. If we did inconvenience users, please know that this was not our goal.
This operation is a response to Sony’s attempt to deprive their customers of products they bought and therefore own, wholly and completely. Anonymous will not attempt to fight this by following the exact same course of action. We have plenty of tricks up our sleeves.

As a last point, we would like to point out that different operations are “run” by different people. Those who are involved in the organisation of OpSony, are not necessarily those involved in that of SonyRecon. Anonymous Operations are generally independent efforts, and it would be a mistake to assume that the same individuals are responsible for every action taken. Anonymous is comprised of people with diverse points of view, of which not all coincide with one another.

That being said, our campaign against Sony and others that would trample on the idea of free information will continue, until we are satisfied with the outcome.

We are Anonymous,
We are legion,
We never forgive,
We never forget,
Expect us.

After posting a threat that Sony’s got the unwanted attention from elite internet hacker group, Anonymous, it looks like they’ve decided to unleash an attack on them right away.

The official Sony website and also the Playstation website seems to be under a DDOS attack as of now and it’s definitely being carried out by the group.

The group had warned Sony yesterday, to be prepared to face the consquences for suing their fellow hackers, GeoHot and Graf_Chokolo.

We can only wait and watch how this progresses, but as of now, Sony’s definitely found themselves in the firing range of one of the worst possible opponents.
