BioWare announced today that Sarah Schachner will be composing the music of Anthem, their upcoming shared world adventure that is due to launch next February. Schachner has previously composed music for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and, more importantly, Assassin’s Creed Origins, the latter having some of the best music in the franchise- so we can probably expect some great stuff from her with Anthem (hopefully!).

Thankfully, we already have an idea of what the music in the new game will be like, because BioWare also shared Valor, the main theme for the game, on the Twitter account for the game. It’s only a small clip, but it should at least give you an idea for the type of sound that the game is going for. It’s not what I expected, but I feel like it will fit the game. BioWare games have always had great musical identities- hopefully Anthem is primed to follow in their footsteps.
