The bugs and crashes are starting to pile up.

While all accounts indicate the launch of Fallout 4 was a rousing success, there have been a number of bugs and crashes that have occurred, especially when it comes to the Xbox and PC versions of the game. We recently pointed out one crash on the PC that seems to be a bit of a game breaking bug when it comes to traveling to Monsignor Plaza.

This is hardly the only crash that has occurred as more and more players encounter different little problems with the title. Considering the game sold more than 12 million copies on the first day, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that a large number of people have run across a decent number of problems.

A member on Bethesda forums has been kind enough to grab a number of the workarounds for these kinds of problems, because as of now, it doesn’t appear Bethesda is going to be releasing a patch for these problems anytime soon. The problems that have been caught by the site and in turn has offered up a workaround include the Hunter/Hunted, Shadow of Steel, Kidnapping from Greentop Nursery, the Silver Shroud Quest, Rockets Red Glare and many others. Basically it looks as though there are a number of quests that have been unsolvable because of some sort of game breaking glitch that throws you out of where you want to be. Luckily, those broken game parts can be fixed with a little bit of ingenuity and skill and then you’ll be able to enjoy Fallout 4 to the fullest.

Traveling to Mosignor Plaza in-game causes crash back to desktop.

It wouldn’t be a Bethesda Softworks open-world game without some bugs but this one in Fallout 4 is fairly serious. According to reports from several users on the forums, a major bug occurs when players attempt to travel to Mosignor Plaza for a settlement quest. If one tries to head there, the game crashes back to the desktop with no error message or indication of what the problem could be.

Though there have been various glitches and bugs reported by users in the past few days, this one is fairly significant. Even worse, it’s affecting players across all platforms. Bethesda is hopefully working on a fix so stay tuned for more information via a future patch.

Despite its problems, Fallout 4 has been very successful for Bethesda – it sold 12 million units in a single day, topped sales charts in the UK and has seen some very positive critical reception as well. What are your thoughts on the bug? Let us know in the comments below.

An unusual bug, but luckily it was spotted.

A bug has arisen in Dragon Age Inquisition that has secretly been effecting possibly thousands of gamers if not more. Unlike some other modern AAA releases, this bug isn’t game breaking and in fact can be, and has been, completely overlooked by most gamers except for the extra attentive.

Some players may have noticed that this time around, your adventuring partners are a little bit less talkative. Well that wasn’t by design and is actually a bug that has gone unnoticed recently and has the developers at Bioware scratching their heads. Though rest assured they are hard at work trying to find the cause and patch the issue.

No public announcement of a bug was made, instead they sought out players that had sank in excess of 60 hours into the game to and requested their save files to help locate the bug. For those new to Dragon Age, the character interactions outside of main dialogue is act ally crucial to both plot and character development, so while this bug doesn’t break the game, it’s important to get it fixed.

It's even weirder in practice.

A new Battlefield 4 bug has been discovered courtesy of Jack Frag on YouTube. You can check out the bug in question above, but in short, it turns the dead into shields for the living.

It’s highly nuanced too so stay with us for a minute. When a player is in a downed state, for which they can accept defibrillators and be revived within a short time span, then a live player immediately standing behind them receives no damage from bullets. Grenades bounce right back and even tank shells can’t penetrate. This is because the downed body is still registering as an obstacle. This only works for downed players – shoot up some one real good and make them deader than dead, and you’ll find no such shield protecting the players behind them.

It really is a bug that has the potential to break several aspects of the game. Have you experienced it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

The campaign prologue town can be accessed on GTA Online via a small glitch.

Remember the North Yankton area seen in Grand Theft Auto 5’s prologue, which originally served as the home turf for Trevor and Michael? Thanks to a glitch in GTA Online, players have found a way to access the town. CVG first reported this glitch (and you can view a video of the same there), but it’s not too hard to access.

You’ll need version 1.07 of the game and have to reach the point in the prologue where you’re escaping the bank through the garage and taking on the cops. Exit to the left, pause your game and have a friend invite you into their game on GTA Online. You’ll then need to get a chopper and fly to the bottom-most right part of your screen. You should be able to make out some floating mountains – beyond that is North Yankton. From there, you can explore the town and even have other players join you there.

Best glitch ever or just another issue for Rockstar to correct? Visit it soon before it gets patched, is what we have to say and let us know about any hijinks you get up to while there in the comments.

The brutal bug that plagued Pokemon X & Y users since launch has reportedly been patched by developer Game Freak. The update is currently available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop right now, so pick it up now if you’re still facing problems with your saved games.

The bug emerged when players reported problems after saving in certain areas of Luminose City. The problems that surfaced included 3DS handhelds becoming unresponsive on trying to re-load the saves. Of course, there was no means to access the data which meant you had to restart your game. Nintendo did release a map later showcasing areas that were safe to save in for Luminose City.

Now that the bug has been fixed, you can save anywhere you want. Have the update has made things easier for you? Let us know in the comments below. Those who have yet to pick up either game can check out our official review here.

A map has been revealed that indicates places safe to save in.

Pokemon X & Y may turn out to be the most successful game in the series yet – becoming the fastest selling 3DS title since releasing on October 12th worldwide – but many handhelds were affected when it was discovered that saving in Luminose City caused saved games to become corrupted.

Thankfully, it seems Nintendo is working on a fix for the same, with an update on their Japanese website stating that it should be resolved in the next few days. The publisher has also released a map of Luminose City, which details areas that are safe to save your game in such as the Pokemon Centre.

For now, avoid any of the blue highlighted areas to avoid having your game file corrupted.

Have you been facing the issue and restarted your game as a result? Let us know in the comments below, along with what you think of Nintendo’s response.

Despite already selling 4 million units since releasing on October 12th for Nintendo 3DS worldwide, Pokemon X & Y has been hit by a game breaking bug that is triggered when players try to save their game in Lumiose City. According to reports on forums and sites, saving in the area results in the game and handheld becoming unresponsive when you try to load the game again.

As of now, the bug has been reported in the Japanese and European releases of the game but it’s likely that even the North American version will be experiencing it. Thus far, there hasn’t been a way to retrieve the save file though you can over or delete it. Nintendo has not responded to reports of the bug as of yet, so players are being advised to not save their game in Lumiose City.

Have you had problems with your save game in Lumiose City? Let us know in the comments below.
