<p style="text-align: justify;">Just Dance 2 is the second highest selling Wii game, with LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean coming in next.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Oldies like Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country Returns also made an appearance on the list, being the 4th, 8th and 10th highest selling games respectively, the same as last week.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Xenoblade Chronicles is also going strong, holding its last week&#8217;s 5th position.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Cars 2 at No.6, Wii Party at 7 and uDraw (incl. uDraw Studio) at 9 round off the rest of the top 10.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The NPD figures for the month of January are out, and according to these reports, January saw a decline of 5% in PC games, non PC games, accessories and hardware, going down from grossing $1.22 billion to $1.16 billion.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hardware market saw the biggest drop, falling 8% to $324 million. The only console know till now to not have seen a decline in sales was the Xbox 360, which, according to Microsoft&#8217;s reports, sold a 381,000 units, reporting a 15% year-on-year increase. Neither Nintendo nor Sony have released any figures yet.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">However, the accessory sales saw a rise of 6%, going from from $222.8 million to $235.1 million year-over-year. PlayStation Move and Kinect sales were included.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Software sales saw a drop too- they dropped to $603.1 million, going 6% down from $644.9 million last year. Call of Duty: Black Ops was the highest selling game, followed by Just Dance 2, Dead Space 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">GameFly has released it&#8217;s charts of the top 10 rented games of 2010, and Red Dead Redemption has topped the chart for the overall most rented game, and has also been revealed to be the most rented Xbox 360 game of 2010.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Black Ops was the second most rented game, overall and on the 360 as well. God of War III and Heavy Rain came in at the first and second position for the PS3, while Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Donkey Kong Country Returns claimed the top two spots for the Wii.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver were the two most rented DS games, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Waker the two more rented PSP games.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Madden NFL 11 made for the top two spots for the PS2.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This is all taken into account keeping in mind over four hundred thousand (400,000) GameFly members.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Final Fantasy XIII debuted on the Xbox 360 in Japan this week, but it had a somewhat disappointing performances, failing to make it to even the Top 20 games sold in the region. it sold even less than 22,500 copies.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Even Black Ops, which is a first person shooter (Japanese don&#8217;t like shooters) managed to claim the 18th spot, yet Final Fantasy XIII, an RPG and the thirteenth game of the FF series- a complete win-win combo for the Japanese people- failed to sell properly.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">It sold even less than Mario Kart Wii, which sold 22,579 units so many years after its release.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">To be fair, people must be really busy with Monster Hunter Freedom 3 and Pokemon Black/White to indulge in an RPG that was already released such a long time ago on a much powerful system.</p>
