Check out the gameplay video from Treyarch’s new DLC, showing off the new Moon map. This DLC only contains Zombie maps and will feature 5 of them. The map pack will launch first on the Xbox 360 on August 23rd and will probably arrive on the PC and PS3 after a month, according to the timed exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft.

Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz says Battlefield 3’s pre-orders match those of Call of Duty: Black Ops’ last year- the game broke a shitload of records, and went on to sell over 20 million units, so I suppose EA would be pretty happy right now.

Figures “”indicate that pre-orders are roughly comparable to those of Call of Duty: Black Ops last year, which has gone on to sell over 20 million units,” says the analyst.

As I said, Ea would be pretty happy, since Black Ops went on to sell like hot cakes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is already at eighteen million units sold worldwide ever since its release just two months ago- now that’s a heavy number in a very short span of time. Activision must be really happy. What they will not be happy about is that it’s also the most pirated game of 2010, with over four million illegal downloads having been made already, and that is just for the PC.

According to PC Gamer, over four million torrents of the PC version of Black Ops were downloaded. For the XBox 360, it was torrented 930,000 times.

The Wii’s most pirated game was Super Mario Galaxy 2, having been torrented 1,470,000 times already.

Treyarch says that any movement problems that could be found in their super-blockbuster title, Call of Duty: Black Ops, have now been fixed.

“A slight problem with the latest hotfix” resulted in player playing online suffering a decrease in their speed.

“But all should be back to normal now,” said Treyarch community manager Josh Olin.

“The movement speed decrease on #CODBlackOps 360 & PS3 was unintentional, now fixed,” He added via a Tweet. “Restart your game and all will be normal.”

The first DLC pack for the super-successful Call of Duty: Black Ops, First Strike, will be releasing next year on the 1st of February, and will be a timed exclusive for Xbox Live.

YouTube user samyhz has uploaded a leaked video of an entire single player mission of Activision’s upcoming megaton Treyarch developed First Person Shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and it looked authentic enough to us.

The action is top-notch, the cutscenes are really well directed, the dialogue is crisp and the graphics are the best we have ever seen in any Call of Duty game. Check it out above and see how you like it.

PCGames.de reports the European version of Activision’s upcoming First Person Shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops, has been banned in Germany. Only local versions of the game will be authorised by Steam. Regarding the depictions of war, the censorship laws of the nation have forced this ban upon the game.

Steam will also require an activation code for local copies of the game, so imported copies, even from the UK, will not work.

And “MUAHAHAHAHAHA,” cries EA.

GameStop, US game retailers, say they have taken an “all time” record number of pre-orders for Activision’s upcoming first person shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops.

“GameStop is tracking to all-time, record reservations on Call of Duty: Black Ops,” said Bob McKenzie, the firm’s SVP of merchandising. “We are ahead of where we were with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 last year, which previously set the industry standard.”
