Nintendo confirmed that a new console is in production and will be unveiled and playable at E3 this year, earlier today.

Various information has crept up since then, but most interestingly, a image which is said to be of the controller for the console has surfaced aswell.

As you can see, it has a touch screen and buttons, all tucked into the controller. Although, this might just be an concept but rumours suggests that the final design would be similar to this one.

Nintendo’s set to unleash a flood of details regarding their new console in the coming E3 event, to be held in LA in June.

Ubisoft’s announced that Child of Eden, their low-profile project will be releasing in Q2 of 2011.

This means that you can expect it to release mid-way through the year.

Child of Eden was announced last E3, but we haven’t been shown much of it after that.

Finally, some Crysis 2 footage taken from the PS3 version of the game.

Crytek’s released a new trailer which shows the PS3 build of the game in motion.

But that’s not all, the trailer subtly hints that a PS3 demo is “coming soon” near its end.

The demo of the game is already available for Xbox 360 and a PC demo was confirmed aswell.

Crysis 2 releases on March 22 in US and March 25 in the UK.

PS3 fans can rejoice now.

Gamescom 2010 was a huge success and it seems publishers are already preparing their show for this year’s event.

The first batch of publishers which will be showcasing their products during the event have been confirmed.

It includes the likes of Bethesda and EA.

GamesCom will be held this year in Colonge, Germany from August 17-21.

Epic’s finally confirmed that they’ll be releasing a PC demo for Bulletstorm, however, not before the game sees its release.

The news was confirmed by Mark Rein via a tweet:

“Bulletstorm PC demo is in the works! Won’t make it in time for ship date but should be available shortly after.”

A console demo of Bulletstorm was released for both PS3 and Xbox 360 on Jan 25.

Bulletstorm releases next week for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

You can expect us to post its review very soon.

Killzone 3 is yet to release but Guerilla Games has already announced a soon to be released patch for the game.

According to their community website, the patch will take care of several niggles.

• Likewise, the Bullet Damage ribbon will have its effectiveness lowered as well

• Balance factions out by moving players to the other team at the end of the match if one team is lopsided

• Clans will no longer get matched against other clans that have many more players than they do

They also said that several key issues have already been fixed before the game hits stands later this month.

They also state that this is just the first patch of many which will make the game even better.

Killzone 3 releases later this month in US and UK for PS3.

Criterion’s announced three brand new DLC packs for NFS: Hot Pursuit.

The first pack will see its release as soon as next week.

Armed and Dangerous will be releasing next Tuesday and feature two new game modes – Most Wanted and Arms Race.

Most Wanted is basically a chase where cops get chase down a specific racer while others try to protect him. Arms Race, as the title suggest, is a race where you’ll have access to weapons. Three new trophies will accompany the pack and it’ll cost 560 MS points or €6.99.

The second pack is a DLC car pack which will come with Cop and Racer versions of Lamborghini Diablo, Countach and Sesto Elemento. It’ll also include 10 new events and four new trophies for you to bag.

Same price as the above pack.

The final DLC pack, aptly named Porsche Unleashed will come with three brand new Porsche cars, 82 Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche 959 and 911 Speedster, 10 new events and four new trophies. It’ll also be priced as the earlier two DLC packs.

Gamerzines had uncovered a Xbox 360 hardware bundle for THQ’s upcoming shooter, Homefront.

The pack includes a 250GB Xbox 360 Slim model, one controller and a copy of the game.

The bundle is slated to launch day and date with the game’s UK launch, March 18.

Homefront’s also releasing for PS3 and Xbox 360 and is looking to be a surprise so far.

3DS launches in Europe on March 25 but we’re yet to get a confirmed price.

Angry Birds, the popular indie game has been confirmed for 3DS.

Rovio, the game’s developers revealed this news on Twitter.

While conversing with 3DSFocus on Twitter, the studio confirmed that the game will be releasing on WiiWare and 3DS  “later this year”, they also revealed that they had plans to bring all three previously released Angry Birds titles to 3DS as digital download.

Good news for Wii gamers and those looking forward to the 3DS.
