Xbox Game Pass subscribers have quite a lot to look forward to in October with Carto, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 to 4 and much more out this week. But there’s even more to come. Microsoft has  announced November’s initial line-up for Game Pass, which includes Matt Makes Games’ Celeste.

The critically acclaimed platformer will be available for console and PC subscribers on November 5th (with support for Android as well). Comanche comes to PC subscribers on the same day and offers modern helicopter action in various multiplayer modes. Then there’s Deep Rock Galactic, a 1 to 4 player co-op title that features Space Dwarves, mining and battles against alien hordes. It will be available for console and PC subscribers.

Other titles releasing on November 5th include Eastshade and Knights and Bikes, both playable on console and PC. ARK: Survival Evolved – Explorer’s Edition is out on November 17th for subscribers on both platforms and also supports Android. Stay tuned for more details on other Game Pass titles coming next month especially with the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launches on November 10th.

The Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus subscribers in January is finally live and it offers quite the selection of free titles.

PS4 users get Day of the Tentacle Remastered, which is cross-buy with the PlayStation Vita and thus gives you the game on handheld as well. This War of Mine: The Little Ones is also free for PS4 and with the critical reception it’s received, this is arguably one of the better free games available now.

Other games include The Swindle, free for PS3, PS4 and PS Vita and Titan Souls, available for PS4 and PS Vita. As usual, download the game on any one platform and it will be available for free on the other(s).

PS3 users only have one free exclusive this month with Blazerush while PS Vita users receive Azkend 2 for free. To check out the titles in action, simply watch the video below and let us know which one interests you most.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered is the re-release (in case the name did not give that part away) of a classic LucasArts game, brought back to life with support for newer systems, a streamlined interface, and highly enhanced graphics, redrawn from the ground up to support higher resolutions, while still retaining the look and feel of the original game.

But hey, at its core, this is a game that is a product of an era, which is a great thing- it’s great because it does not hold our hand, and lets us figure things out ourselves, unlike modern titles. On the other hand, this also means we have a possibility of, you know, getting lost, or getting stuck.
