Not all games are epic adventures, some have faster endings tucked away, waiting for the player to find them.

W[orking your way to the end of a game isn’t always easy, but sometimes developers slip in an early, hidden ending, giving players something special to hunt down. Here are the 15 games you don’t know have shortcut endings.

As soon as Pagan Min kidnaps you he sits you down at an elegantly set table. Just as he begins a long, rambling speech he’s interrupted as a guard walks in. He gets up, apologizes for the delay and asks you to stay seated until he returns. If you follow his instructions and stay in the room for roughly 15 minutes he comes back and brings you to your mother’s grave as ‘should I stay or should I go’ plays as the screen fades to black and the credits begin to scroll down the screen.

Because not all game endings are completely retarded...

There have been plenty of editorials recently on awful game endings, a trend that seems to coincide all too conveniently with the launch of Mass Effect 3 back in March this year. Hell, we even wrote one ourselves, but there are times when a cloud has a silver lining. Whilst it would be fun to rattle on about rubbish game endings, we thought it would be better to try and take a positive outlook on the dodgy epilogue. Here are ten really awesome moments in game endings that are otherwise pretty rubbish. And yes, Hideo Kojima will feature fairly heavily in this list, so sue me. This list may contain spoilers and is in random order.

For more features and editorials, check here and here respectively.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more news and updates.
