In the midst of financial success, CD Projekt RED revealed that a new patch would be out on August 30th for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This patch coincides with the release of the Game of the Year Edition and will come pre-loaded with all copies of the game.

The patch is pretty standard fare, fixing issues in the “Without A Trace” quest where two NPCs couldn’t be beaten. The Rabid Rock Trolls on Dun Tynne have also had their difficulty tuned for the “Just The Story” difficulty. Changes to the GUI have also been added which includes PlayStation controller prompts. In a rather curious addition, Vimme Vivaldi’s look has been changed and he’s not sporting a “fresh” appearance.

You can check out the rest of the patch notes here to find out what the other changes are. The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition is out tomorrow and will include the base game along with the expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.

E-xpress Interactive has revealed that not only will Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition be arriving in India on Janaury 31st for PlayStation 4 at Rs. 2999 but that the Game of the Year Edition for the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be available as well. Both versions of the GOTY Editions will be available at Rs.1999.

The Definitive Edition will also be receiving a Limited Edition Artbook in limited numbers of the digital pack. These can be picked up at Games The Shop and Landmark, and will include never before seen concept art from the game.

Meanwhile, the Game of the Year Edition will include the original game along with all previously released DLC. Those wanting to see what the Definitive Edition on PS4 has to offer can look forward to improved visuals, a revamped Lara Croft, 1080p visuals an a new multiplayer mode which sees the survivors fight the Scavengers.

A Microsoft spokesperson later confirmed the GotY Edition, stating that, “A Game of the Year Edition of Halo 4 will be offered this October, offering tremendous value for fans who want to enjoy one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2012, and additional DLC all in one place. We will have more details to share during the live stream of the Halo Global Championship Finals this Sunday.”

Halo 4: Game of the Year Edition will be out this October and retail for $49.99. That marks an almost one year anniversary for the game, which was developed by 343 Industries and released on November 6th 2012.

A listing for a Game of the Year Edition of the critically acclaimed Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has just popped up on Amazon France. Skyrim has been home to numerous Game of the Year accolades, so it should come as no surprise that it’s getting a re-release.

Although no details have been disclosed, it’s safe to bet that the Game of the Year Edition will include all DLC packs released so far, namely: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. It’s listed for a price of EUR 39.99, with a release date of June 12th.

Bethesda has not acknowledged the listing just yet, but you can expect an official announcement soon. With every Elder Scrolls and Fallout title by Bethesda getting the Game of the Year Edition treatment, it’s only a matter of time before Skyrim gets the same.

Many distributors, and some retailers as well, have listed an L.A. Noire Game of the Year Edition, due out this November. Gamers Globe reports that Nordic retail websites have started listing the new edition already.

As has always been with Take-Two games, the new GotY edition will supposedly include all the DLCs of the game released so far. This announcement has come way sooner than was expected…

This will, reportedly, be releasing some time after the similarly leaked Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition, which is supposed to hit the shelves soon now.
