Employing a monochromatic art style and aesthetic use of shadows and silhouettes, Limbo tells the enigmatic tale of a protagonist traversing across a world filled with various terrors to find his sister. The mood of the game and its story-telling made it a critical and commercial success as it sold more than 3 million copies for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Vita and Mac OS.

Playdead is reworking the controls in order to optimize it for touchscreens, but it seems that Limbo will work on iPad 2 and higher, iPad Mini, iPhone 4S and higher and the latest iteration of iPod Touch. Check out our review of Limbo for the PlayStation Vita here.

In a weird analysis, it has been reported that the iPad–the 9 inch one–is under threat from smaller ones, including iPad Mini.

It’s no secret that the bigger iPad commands most of the market share, and analysts have been saying that people prefer the smaller iPads more, hence the marketshare will be eroded in the future.

Citi analyst Glen Yeung, noted the official sales of the iPad Mini, and pointed out that the sales of the iPad fell 9 percent and 29 percent in Japan year-over-year.

There are a bunch of 7-inch Android tablets in the market like Google Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and Amazon Kindle Fire and they hold 41.2 percent of the tablet market share.

“Beyond simply the overall share loss, the data reveals a particular slowdown in 10-inch iPad sales in mature markets,” Yeung said.

“After analyzing the data, we have new concerns about the health of the 10-inch tablet market and, absent any material innovations (we do not count a Retina Mini or lighter/thinner iPad 5 among these), we remain concerned about Apple’s ability to maintain market share.”
