On the left side of the picture, we have Wrex from the original Mass Effect who sports a full armor set including glove and helmet. Commander Shepard gets the full treatments as well with the skin, N7 helmet, gauntlets and armor. Liara also has a skin along with the gloves and a head piece. Last but not least, Garrus will be featuring his own skin, chest armor, eye piece, head piece and gloves.

This new DLC will be compatible with LittleBigPlanet Karting, LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita and LittleBigPlanet 2.

This piece of content also comes with a decent amount of Mass Effect in-game stickers.

Also as a reminder to everyone who’s wondering about what’s going on next for the franchise. It has been rumored for a while now that Sumo Digital is hard at work on LittleBigPlanet 3. There is a decent chance that we might be seeing the next entry in the series during Sony’s E3 2013 Press Conference on June 10th.

If you like your game’s adorable, chances are you own LBP2 (and maybe even like The Muppets). Well, this match made in heaven will be launching tomorrow via PSN for $5.99 (£4.79, €5.99, AUS $ 9.95, NZD $11.50). The level kit will include five new level, two mini-games, a new soundtrack, objects, voices, seven new trophies, 12 new pins and a bonus costume of Rowlf the Dog. Two new materials will also be included: The Attract-O-Gel, allowing Sackboy to walk on walls and ceilings, and the  Attract-O-Tweak which will do the same but with objects. YAAAAAAAY!

In May a ‘teacher pack’ will be released for LBP 2 in a bid by Sony to get the PS3  into the classroom as a learning tool. It will include “National Curriculum-based in-game levels that other teachers have made.” Sony are also providing “PlayStation Move courses for teachers, which explain how the motion accessory can be used in the classroom for mathematics.”

Media Molecule have released a patch for their platforming meta-game that fixes a long list of glitches and issues.

The full list of changes include:

* Your Craft Earth should no longer obscure the pod when changing your PSN Avatar.
* If your POD was missing, blocked, broken or contained any create objects it shouldn’t have, it will now be reset to normal.
* A more accessible “Reset Pod” option is now available should your POD become broken for some reason! To access it:
o Pause the game / Press START
o Go to the Settings Menu
o Select Profile
o Select “Reset Pod Decoration”
The “Naux” glitch / corrupt Sackboy problem should now be fixed – your Sackboy will no longer be squishy and unable to swim!
* * DLC costumes and PODS that have been captured from community levels will no longer be selectable in pop-it. Anyone wearing a “glitched” DLC costume after patching will have it removed.
* Several improvements to overall game stability have been made.
* We’ve vanquished some evil code gremlins that were causing crashes and that has improved overall stability.
* Info bubbles that have long text descriptions (e.g. The sequencer) can now be scrolled in a fixed width text box.
* There is now a visual indicator showing how high a bounce pad will bounce you when tweaking it in Create mode.
* Stickers and decorations that are placed on Sackboy only will not appear in the used objects page.
* Level keys can now be deleted from Pop-it!
* You can’t watch the credits while already watching them after completing the game.
* It should now be possible to re-enter your shopping cart if you accidentally signed out when it had some items in it.
* Players will now be prompted to save the changes made to their level in Create when switching to Play Mode after having changed the Audio Reverb.
* Emitting and destroying spawn points in quick succession should no longer make the game crawl into the corner and weep.
* LBP1 sound objects should now be correctly imported when using the option to do so when booting the game.
* It is no longer possible to access level links to LBP1 Story levels that you have hearted.
* The Clank Costume has green eyes again!

Early this February, a new level called ‘LittleBigPrius’ will be available and with have top-down driving as part of it where you will actually be driving the Toyota Prius. There will be a contest where you must create your own Prius based level from collection items from ‘LittleBigPrius’.

– Grand prize gets a 46” Sony Bravia 3D HDTV, and a PlayStation Move hardware bundle including a PS3 and Sports Champions.
– 4 Runners up will get a PS Move bundle with Sports Champions.

Alright, now the beta for Little Big Planet 2 is really helping out the games development as well as its promotion.  We have got Little Big Planet 2 Sports Edition.  Ok, not really an edition but, just to see what has already been done with the beta alone is amazing, making the games full release really stand out as a true sequel expanding on everything the first game had and more.  Little Big Planet 2 will be out January 18, 2011 exclusively for the Playstation 3.
