Microsoft has confirmed its initial line-up of Xbox Game Pass for PC titles coming in March. It kicks off with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, which is also currently available for owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam. The beta for Ninja Theory’s Bleeding Edge will also be available to play from March 13th to 15th.

However, perhaps the biggest release of the month is Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It launches on March 11th and while confirmed for Xbox Game Pass on console, PC players will also get their chance to enjoy the mystical world outside of Nibel. Pikuniku, a puzzle game from Sectordub, will also be available on the same day.

State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition arrives on March 13th while titles like Lord of the Rings Card Game and Mother Russia Bleeds currently don’t have release dates. It’s also worth noting that titles like Thimbleweed Park, Shenmue 1 and 2, and Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition will be gone soon. Play them while you can in the meantime.

Mother Russia Bleeds is an excellent 2D beat ’em up, in the tradition of old school beat ’em ups from the 8- and 16-but heyday, that got released recently on PC (with a PS4 release due for later this year some time). The game has been received remarkably well, mostly because of its gameplay, which channels classics like Double Dragon and Streets of Rage remarkably well, but also because of the sheer absurdity of its plot and setup.

It’s a great game for fans of old school brawlers, and definitely something that they should look into. It’s also very simplistic, and not something that you’re ever going to find yourself stuck in.
