Activision recently revived the long dormant and widely beloved Sierra brand as its publishing label for more quirky, indie ventures that are less like the traditional AAA blockbuster experiences Activision is typically known for, and Sierra has just announced a new publishing venture that seems to live up to Sierra’s new billing.

The game is called Shiftlings, and it is a brand new physics based puzzle platforming game from Rock Pocket Games, involving manipulation of matter and mass in outer space.

“Shiftlings was the kind of game we immediately knew we wanted to work on after playing it,” said Bob Loya, Sr. Director of External Development for Sierra. “Rock Pocket’s inventive take on the puzzle platformer epitomizes Sierra’s focus on finding great indie talent within the development community and giving them access to the tools and platforms they need to share their unique creations with the world.”
