After promising the function back in October, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has announced that screenshot functionality will be coming to the Xbox One in early 2015.

Speaking on Xbox Wire, Spencer said that, “Screenshots are coming early this year. I know it has been a question for quite a while. We delivered themes, and I think a natural add-on to themes are screenshots.

“Giving people more ability to share their great gaming moments on the platform – whether it’s just as a screenshot, as their background, or through many of the different social networks that we allow people to share their content through is a long-term commitment that we have”

For the past few days,  it has been a fantastic time to be a Rayman fan. Ubisoft has confirmed Rayman Legends for PlayStation Vita to release on the same day as the console version, Rayman Jungle Run coming to Windows 8 phones and now the company is releasing tons of new delicious media for their upcoming anticipated next Rayman title.

The first trailer features one of the unique boss fights from Rayman Legends titled as A Madman’s Creation, which shows-off a mechanical serpent in a laboratory:

Hello Games has announced that they will be releasing Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie on Steam for PC later this year.

The original Joe Danger came out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010 and then two years later Joe Danger 2: The Movie was released in 2012.

Here is the official statement from the press release regarding the PC version of the well-established popular franchise.

“Actually, PC is Joe Danger’s spiritual home,” Murray added. “I coded my first ever PC engine when we started making the original Joe Danger back in 2009, because we couldn’t get hold of console devkits. So it’s incredibly exciting to be finally able to release it.”

The PC version of Joe Danger will include extra content and hardware advantages.

Steam Workshop will be integrated to share custom-made levels. The game will also support full Steam Big Picture mode, extra graphical options, Ghost recording, new levels and more.

Today is quite a big day for the fans of the Batman video game franchise. The Debut CG trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins is finally here as it was previously teased a week ago by the developers releasing a snippet video. Along with the new official trailer we also get brand new screenshots and the finalized boxart for the following platforms: PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and the Wii U. Downloadable content plans have also been revealed earlier today by the Creative Director Eric Holmes during an interview with GameInformer magazine. Sony has released a batch of new screenshots for Killzone: Mercenary on the PlayStation Vita. Killzone: Mercenary was recently pushed forward to September 10th release instead of September 17th to avoid the competetion against Grand Theft Auto V. You can take a peek at the article on how Guerrilla Games was tweeting to Rockstar Games regarding their release date, it was quite an amusing tweet war.

Square-Enix has released new screenshots for the upcoming sequel Drakenguard 3 also known as Drag-on-Dragon in Japan. Drakenguard 3 is an action role-playing where you play as a female character named Zero.

Zero is a unique character in the game that has an artificial left hand and a flower that sprouts from her right eye. She also has a special power called Utautai, which lets her use singing as a magic.

Zero is also accompanied by her sister who’s name is One. Both of the sisters have the Utautai powers, but they’re quite different when it comes to personality.

Drakenguard is slated to come out sometime this year in Japan, however the Western release date is currently unknown.

Evolution Studios has released eight new screenshots for their upcoming PlayStation 4 launch title – DriveClub. DriveClub is the new flagship racing game from the developers who brought us the critically acclaimed Motorstorm franchise on the PlayStation 3.

This is a stunning looking racing game. Back when this title was revealed at PlayStation 4’s reveal Evolution Studios has promised us that the visual quality is “borderline insane”.

I can’t wait to personally see this game in motion on the new hardware. Thankfully they were nice enough to tease us with eight new screenshots.

The Wolf Among Us is a brand new game from Telltale Games. This brand new title is an adaption of Fable comic series which is also known as The Wolf Among Us. Telltale will be releasing this new title sometime during the summer on PC, Mac, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Telltale’s last game was The Walking Dead which was tremendously successful in terms of having an engaging plot and keeping players interested. The Wolf Among Us plans to continue that success for Telltale Games.

According from the screenshots above its easy to tell that the game has a very strong emphasis on a comic-book art-style.

Batman: Arkham Origin was announced as a prequel to previous Batman games and will feature a younger Batman, but with a darker and  grittier story. The game is being developed by Warner Bros Montreal rather than Rocksteady.

This new entry in the series is set to come out on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and Wii U on October 25th 2013. However, the game is ‘supposedly’ coming to next-gen consoles as well, but that is currently unconfirmed.
