Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari is Out Now

Vampire Survivors has received its second paid DLC in Tides of the Foscari, playable now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It costs $1.99 but is available at 10 percent off until April 20th. Check out the launch trailer below, which showcases some of the new playable characters.

Foscari Academy is the centrepiece of the massive new stage, where wizards, spies and other leaders train. Of course, the forest isn’t safe and full of monsters to slay by the thousands. The new characters include Eleanor, a magic user; Maruto, a warrior; and Keitha, a rogue. You also have Luminaire, the Lady of Lake Foscari, who possesses incredible magic power.

Each character has unique weapons like Eleanor’s SpellString, Keitha’s Flash Arrow and Luminaire’s Prismatic Missile, though you can unlock them for use on others. There are 13 new weapons and eight characters, but the rest are a surprise. Tides of the Foscari also offers seven new music tracks, Achievements and much more.

More updates, both paid and free, are coming to Vampire Survivors for the foreseeable future, so stay tuned.

Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari Trailer Teases New Playable Characters

poncle has released a new teaser for Vampire Survivors’ next DLC, Tides of the Foscari. It’s out on April 13th for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, adding eight new characters. Three of them are seemingly teased in the trailer – check it out below, courtesy of IGN.

Ignoring the trailer’s odd vibe, there’s the Fighter, Thief and Mage. The Fighter wields a large sword and could have more tankiness than the others. The Thief looks very Ranger-esque, wielding a bow and arrow. Finally, there’s the Mage, who probably throws some spells around. More so than everyone else, at least.

Their color schemes appear to tie into two of the three houses in Foscari Academy, part of the new location in the DLC. Of course, time will tell how the 13 new weapons play or how spicy the seven music tracks sound, so stay tuned for more details when Tides of the Foscari launches next week for $1.99.

Developer poncle has announced that Vampire Survivors’ second paid DLC, Tides of the Foscari, is releasing on April 13th for $1.99. Set in Western Europe, the DLC is set in The Great Forest and takes inspiration from folklore. Of course, that also means fighting magical beasts, spirits, and other enemies. Check out the screenshots below.

Eventually, you’ll find The Foscari Academy, which trains “the next generation of warriors, scholars, and leaders.” There are three houses – the Azure Tower, the Crimson Anvil and the Amber Sickle, each with unique lore and environmental story-telling.

Eight new characters, 13 new weapons, seven new music tracks and a whopping 20 new Achievements are also included, so there’s plenty to keep players busy. Along with Steam, Vampire Survivors is available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC. If you’re already subscribed and have yet to play, it’s only $4 more for Legacy of the Moonspell, the first DLC, and Tides of the Foscari. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
