Vampire Survivors - Legacy of the Moonspell

The first paid DLC for poncle’s Vampire Survivors, Legacy of the Moonspell, is now available for PC and Xbox. It adds Mt. Moonspell, the biggest stage thus far, eight new playable characters, and 13 new weapons. Check out the launch trailer below, which features some snazzy animation and voice acting.

Mt. Moonspell is infested with yokai and oni, and in addition to learning of the Moonspell clan’s downfall, players may gain clues to the vampire’s location. The new characters include Miang Moonspell, who acts like the protagonist of a shounen anime; Menya Moonspell, who possess powerful mystical abilities; and more. Among the new weapons are the Silver Wind staff, Summon Night, Mirage Robe, and more.

As for the stage itself, it offers a variety of environments to explore, from an abandoned castle to an imposing mountain. A village infested by yokai is in the south, while a solitary lake lies to the northeast. There’s plenty to explore and see when your screen isn’t covered in enemies and projectiles.

Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell retails for $1.99. Stay tuned for more details on future updates and DLC for the title.
