Team Meat: 3DS eShop’s 2GB limit “reasonable” compared to WiiWare

Team Meat, the creators of Super Meat Boy have praised 3DS eShop’s 2GB limit for file size calling it reasonable, compared to WiiWare’s measly 40MB limit.

“[WiiWare’s] 40MB is horrible, but [3DS’s] 2GB is reasonable,” said Team Meat’s Tommy Refenes to Nintendo Everything.

“Super Meat Boy would have been on WiiWare if we could have had just a few more megabytes of space – you can only compress stuff so much before you have to start cutting out huge parts of your game. Unfortunately, at that point, it just isn’t worth the time.”

Well everyone hates WiiWare, but that’s understandable as its an old console, and Wii U looks to change all this – just like the 3DS.
